Great Grandma Jean enjoying her most favorite pastime: Playing dominos! And she is an agressive opponiate as well! She plays to win. Grandma Jean is recovering from breaking her hip and this is about 5 weeks after the hospital in July 1, 2006.

During the early days, the pioneers felt that the waters had healing powers and the concret spring box was built so that the people could soak in the highly mineralized, clear water. Know where the original "Karlsbad" is located? It too, is world famous for its water. Today, the City does not maintain the spring box and lets it freely flow; which is poor marketing of the community! But, the WHOLE town suffers from that lack of vision!

The hospital was still under construction...sheetrock was being taped! Electricity was not on; but some equipment was in place, covered with plastic! The doctor who worked on Pat; worked under a flashligh held by the orderly, Wilferd. Joe, Lawrence, and Pat spent the night in rooms which had been taped. Bruce was in the hospital in Tempe, AZ in the Tempe University Medical Center recovering from massive contusion and spinal cord damage.
